Special Presentation - Welcome Our New Co-pastors, Katie and John Callaway

Welcome to a very special episode from First Baptist Church of Savannah, here on WRUU.

We welcome our new Co-pastors, Katie and John Callaway

For the first time in the 219 year history of First Baptist Church of Savannah the congregation has voted to call a wife and husband as Co-pastors. This special presentation will consist of both Katie and John’s first sermons. We will also have special music by Organist Emeritus, James Richardson.

Katie is passionate about helping people grow in their faith through pursuing questions, doubts, and curiosities. In her spare time, she loves being outdoors cycling, running, hiking, or just enjoying a good book. She and John have a two-legged child named Sophie and a four-legged child named Lily. John has worked in and alongside churches across the Southeast preaching, teaching, and leading music, John feels called to help others recognize the “burning bushes” in their lives and to help them grow along their faith journeys.
