Affirmation of Faith
In this Lenten season, we affirm that God is present in the darkness before dawn; in the waiting and uncertainty, where fear and courage join hands, and conflict and caring link arms. We worship a with-us God, who sits down in our midst to share our humanity and hems us in behind and before, from dust to dust.
We affirm a faith in Jesus Christ that takes us beyond the safe place into action, into vulnerability, and into the streets. We commit ourselves to work for change, to bear responsibility, to take risks, and live reflectively. We will stand with those on the edge, choose life, and be used by the Spirit for God’s new community of hope.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
