And what purposes does copyright serve for authors and the public? Two decades ago, Congress amended copyright law to add twenty years to the period of copyright protection. Books and other creative works are only entering the public domain again over the last few years. This week, Leigh and P. T. (with regular-but-still-special guest Dr. Carol Andrews) examine copyright law and discuss some of the books that have recently emerged or will soon.
