Evening Eclectic April 25, 2021 Georgia Southern Opera

Tonight on Evening Eclectic we have a special presentation of two one act operas performed by the Georgia Southern University Opera Program.  "Sāvitri" by Gustav Holst to his own libretto and
"Before Breakfast" by Thomas Pasatieri, libretto adapted by Frank Corsaro after the play by Eugene O’Neil. 

Appearing in "Sāvitri" are Jay Jones (Death – Jay Jones as Death who is a Junior, Vocal Performance Major; Meghann Ashey as Sāvitri  who is a First year graduate student, Master of Music; and
 Russell Spence  as Satyavān  who is a Junior, Vocal Performance Major.

Appearing in "Before Breakfast" is Meghann Ashley as Charlotte, who is a first year graduate student in the Master of Music program.
