Art on the Air December 15th, 2021 with NoNo Flores and the Return of NoNo Wave
We've got a really fun episode lined up for you this week: We spoke with illustrator NoNo Flores live from Lone Wolf Lounge all about her current exhibition, "Lone Wolf Sketchbook!" Flores has spent the years since the popular neighborhood bar opened collecting images of the employees and clientele, and the show captures the best of her "love letter" to the folks who call the place their second home.
Plus, as a bonus, Flores has provided us with a playlist recalling her time as host of WRUU's NoNo Wave, which used to broadcast in the hour just before Art on the Air. Spoiler Alert: It's a GREAT set of songs!
