An Interview with community advocates Monica Wilson and guest Brian Heyward from Historic Carver Village as we discuss community, and upcoming outreach events. 

Monica Wilson was born and raised in beautiful Savannah, the daughter of Donald and Theresa Wilson. She is an educator for a private for-profit online university based in Cypress, California within the American Intercontinental University system, and a business owner. She owns a small business “Elite Business Enterprises LLC” here in Chatham county. She is a community organizer for the Historic Carver Village neighborhood events Facebook pages- and is a volunteer for the Savannah Feed the Hungry organization. She's a member of the Goodwill Missionary Baptist church in the Carver Village neighborhood, and a student working on my Doctorate in Business Administration. She holds a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Information Systems and finally, last but certainly not least she is a mother of 1 son Mason (away in college He's in Houston).

In this interview we talk about a few of the upcoming events happening in Historic Carver Village and Citywide.

President of the west side neighborhood advisory council, 

vice president- under Rev, Alan Mainor of the racial justice network Savannah chapter, 

assistant treasurer for the savannah high school mass alumni. 

American legion Toy Drive ends Dec 11th, 

American legion Jan 14th we will feed the vets in the tiny houses

American legion field day will have a date for April soon.
