Evening Eclectic February 4, 2024 Jen Shyu and Brandon Seabrook Sculpting Sound

Tonight on Evening Eclectic I am talking with string players Jen Shyu and Brandon Seabrook about their performance at the Sculpting Sound set of concerts back in February, 2022 at the Nasher Museum in Dallas Texas.  This concert was part of six concerts, each of  which a featured pair of performers who are known for their distinctive voices in spontaneous composition.  Each concert involved an improvisational set of  pair of performers on their instruments and on a set of sound sculptures by Harry Bertoia.   I was at the concerts back in 2022 and it was a musical highlight of my concert going experiences that I will always remember.  Videos of this concert series can be found at SculptingSound.org.
