February 25, 2025: The Presidents--the good, the bad, the ugly

On this episode of Voices of Reason, co-hosts Two and Barbara began a conversation of USA presidents, including what we felt were the good, the bad, and the ugly of their administrations.   As the country began its experiment with sovereignty, its presidents played a key role in expanding colonial settlement to achieve Manifest Destiny, acquiring more territory via purchase and war, and clearing the land of its existing inhabitants and expanding the powers of the Executive Branch.  While slavery was abolished, enslavement via economic and carceral means.

This conversation brought through the 18th and 19th centuries, and we will continue the conversation on the next episode of Voices of Reason to bring us to the present administration of Donald Trump.
