• We are in the midst of summer and you just heard “Summer Nights” from the film version of Grease. Today we will be playing songs related to the season of summer.

• Opening our first set, we have Ella Fitzgerald singing the Rodgers and Hart song, “Manhattan”, originally written for the 1925 revue, Garrick Gaieties. We will then hear “It’s Hot Up Here” from Steven Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George. And we will finish the set with “Blackout” from Lin Manuel-Miranda’s In The Heights.
