Evening Eclectic August 31, 2025 Matti Kovler and Mahya Hamedi

Tonight on Evening Eclectic I am talking  Russian born, Israel raised composer Matti Kovler and Iranian vocalist Mahya Hamedi.  Tonight we will be talking about their musical collaborations and about Floating Tower.  Floating tower is a musical and theater experience  created by immigrants and refugees which tries to speak to a universal audience by transcending boundaries of language, geography or genre. Floating tower also operates an artist retreat in North Adams, MA where they workshop their immersive works and host the  immigrant and refugee musicians for artist residencies.
