Short Circuits: Aphorisms, Fragments, and Literary Anomalies expands on the theme of aphorisms to include other short-form writing and concrete poetry and prose from several of the world’s leading, award-winning, and best-sellling writers in the genre, including Charles Simic, Lydia Davis, Sarah Manguso, Jane Hirschfield, Joy Harjo, Yahia Labadidi, Claudia Rankine, and Stephen Dobyn.
About the Editors
James Lough, Ph.D., is a professor of writing at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and is the former director of SCAD’s creative writing program. He also is the recipient of the Frank Waters Southwestern Writing Award for short fiction.
Short Circuits: Aphorisms, Fragments, and Literary Anomalies is the second book of short-form writing co-edited by Dr. Lough and Dr. Alex Stein. The first is titled
