Tonight on Evening Eclectic I am talking with cellist Eric Kim about the new album on which he is performing with the Pacifica Quartet entitled The Korngold Collection which was released this past Friday November 14th on Cedille Records. This new 2-CD album includes composer Erich Korngold’s three string quartets, a string sextet and piano quintet and features Eric Kim, cello, Orion Weiss, piano and Milena Pájaro-van de Stadt, viola in addition to the members of the Pacifica Quartet.
