Evening Eclectic December 21, 2025 Sarah Willis - Cuban Christmas
Tonight on Evening Eclectic I am taking with Sarah Willis, horn-player of the Berlin Philharmonic, who has released this holiday season a new album with her Cuban band The Sarahbanda on Deutsche Grammophon entitled “Cuban Christmas”. “Cuban Christmas” weaves the sounds of salsa, mambo, bolero and son into the festive favourites from Silent Night to White Christmas, Jingle Bells to Feliz Navidad. The album also includes reworkings of Bach and Tchaikovsky full of Cuban flair.
