Contemporary Classics June 16, 2026 Dory Hayley
Tonight on Contemporary Classics I am talking with soprano Dory Hayley who has released at the end of September a two-CD recording provocatively entitled “I Love Evil” which includes music by Morton Feldman, Katerina Gimon, Cassandra Miller, Rodney Sharman, and Jordan Nobles. I met Dory at the Modulus Festival in Vancouver, British Columbia a couple of years ago when she performed Morton Feldman’s Three Voices, which is on this new recording. Since then I have been wanting to chat with Dory about the Feldman, and we finally have that opportunity. Plus we have 4 other works to talk about.
