Evening Eclectic July 19, 2026 Andrew Yee - Trans Requiem
Tonight on Evening Eclectic, I am talking with cellist and composer Andrew Yee about two recent projects and albums:
The first album/project is the Trans Requiem with trans soloists, Breanna Sinclairé, Katherine Goforth and Andrew, the Trinity Choir, the Trinity Youth Chorus and Novus string enseble This alb was released this past Friday. Seventeenth on New Amtserdam reords
The Second album/project is the Or the Whale which is collection of material developed together and performed by Andrew with Caroline Shaw around a central suite of music from Wu Tsang’s 2022 film adaptation of the Melville classic Moby Dick). This was released back in May on Platoon Records.
