Contemporary Classics November 3, 2026 Matthew Aucoin and Megan Moore
Tonight on Contemporary Classics I’m talking with composer Matthew Aucoin and mezzo-soprano Megan Moore about the new album Music for New Bodies. Music for New Bodies is a work of music theater based on poems by Jorie Graham. I had the pleasure to see a live performance of this work last year at Tanglewood with Matthew conducting and Megan performing. So for me this album is a marvelous rediscovery of this work. And I also had a chance to briefly meet Matthew at another concert last year at PS21 in Chatham, NY. The album Music for New Bodies was released this past Friday, October 30th on DACAMERA Editions.
