Beyond the Liner Notes - November 23, 2018 - Music of Vancouver

Substitute Host:  Dave Lake

This episode of Beyond the Liner Notes we are exploring musicians from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  I spent a little over a month in Vancouver exploring the musical scene in October and early November of this year, and discovered a richness in some locals but mostly transplants to Vancouver and the surrounding areas of British Columbia which ranged from an alt-Irish string quartet, to classical music, to new wave music, to jazz, to a beat-boxing string trio, to 1920s-1930s New Orleans style jazz created by some Australian ex-pats.
