      The Heart and the Hand



      The unifying themes of this program are justice, love, learning and hope.  The messages come from sermons and readings from Unitarian-Universalist sources.  The program title comes from a beloved Unitarian-Universalist hymn, “Spirit of Life,” which includes the words, “Sing in my heart all the stirrings of compassion” and “Move in the hand, giving life the shape of justice.” Regular features include:

      Bio: Orlando
      Montoya has been on the radio since 1995.  He came to Savannah from his
      native Central Florida in 1998.  He has worked for six different radio
      stations between Orlando, Fla. and Savannah, Ga.  His professional
      awards include 13 recognitions from the Georgia Associated Press
      Broadcast Association and two awards from the Society of Professional
      Journalists.
