On Friday, August 16, Savannah celebrates poet and writer Conrad Aiken in its fourth annual remembrance event, hosted by Orlando Montoya — a writer for Connect Savannah, a radio program producer for WRUU 107.5 FM, and a historical tour guide for Noble Jones Tours — and supported by actor and musician Chase Anderson, Joni Giusti of The Book Lady Bookstore, the Rev. David Messner of the Unitarian-Universalist Church, Cody Shelley, Rexanna Lester, Bill Dawers, and the late Joseph Killorin. This week, Leigh and P. T. discuss Aiken’s autobiography, Ushant, with Orlando and how Aiken’s life and work help shape our own lives today.
