Evening Eclectic August 2, 2020 Will Yager Playlist

Tonight on Evening Eclectic is a show I am calling Will Yager’s Playlist.   Will Yager is an extremely talented double bassist who I met at the Bang on a Can summer festival at MassMOCA in North Adams MA.  I was on bandcamp on the first Friday of last month – first Fridays are when Bandcamp gives all of the proceeds from sales to the musicians.  I happened to see that Will Yager was on Bandcamp both as a fan and as an artist.  So I wanted to see what Will was listening to and discovered a great amount of overlap to what I was listening to but also some really interesting new pieces.  He has eclectic tastes so I decided to do a Will Yager’s Playlist show of some of the recordings from his playlist that I really like as well.
