Faith Released Through Prayer
Scripture of the day- 2 Timothy 1:7- 7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
Quote of the day- You don't need it all figured out. The more you think you do, the more you'll procrastinate and fear moving forward. Have courage and start now, even if you start small.- Thibaut
Positive word of the day- motivation- the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way
the general desire or willingness of someone to do something
You can release your faith through prayer.
You can release your faith just by saying. You know like law of attraction. If you're going to speak something over your life, why not speak positive affirmative things.
Pray the scripture, for when you do so it allows the prayer to be stronger and increases our faith as well
Today I wanted to share some tips on how to stay calm during these times.
We all look at social media, but perhaps limit the amount of social media you participate in.
Focus on the things you can control. Don't focus on what you don't have an answer for. Most people like control and dont realize it. If you find yourself getting worked up over something you can't control, take a deep breath and come back to the present moment.
What can you work on right now? Do you have a plan of action? Do you have a budget for the month? Knowing your expenses up front helps to decrease anxiety about money.
Don't isolate. When isolated it's easy to become consumed with just yourself, but stay in touch with the ones you love. Face to face contacts is like a "vitamin" for your mental health which reduces the risk of depression helping ease stress and anxiety
Talk positive! Don't let every conversation be about today's news and corona updates.
Write down the opposite of what you're thinking!
Whatever you do, let it be a positive implementation in your life that will help you reach higher!
The Source of True Joy
Adapted from the resource Quiet Times with God - by Joyce Meyer
It brings incredible joy when you embrace the truth that you are a forgiven and adored child of God. So why are so many Christians sad, frustrated, and miserable?
I believe it is because they do not understand the reality of being a child of God and the inheritance that is ours in Him. An obstacle or difficulty distracts them, and they simply forget the promises of God for their lives. This is the quickest way to live a sad life instead of a glad life.
Jesus did not die to give you a discouraged, defeated, “down” life—He is your glory and lifter of your head (see Psalm 3:3). God has given you everything you need to enjoy Him, to enjoy yourself and the life He has given you. So, look up today. Celebrate His goodness and His blessings in your life. You are a child of the King . . . let that fill your heart with joy!
Today’s Thought:
Joy is independent of your circumstances. True joy is found in knowing Christ and the hope that He offers us. Take hold of His promises and walk in gladness, regardless of the circumstances around you.
To read: 1 Thessalonians 2:20; Isaiah 29:19
Prayer Starter: Father, thank You for paying such a high price for me to be able to embrace and enjoy my life. Please help me remember and walk in the peace and strength You’ve given me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
