Alpha State

Scripture of the day- Psalm 20:4- May He give you the desire of your heart and make all  your plans succeed.

Quote of the day- All your dreams can come true if you have the courage to pursue them. - Walt Disney

Positive word of the day- possible: able to be done; within the power or capacity of someone or something.

a person or thing that has the potential to become or do something, especially a potential candidate for a job or membership on a team.

When your brain wave activity slows down to between 7 and 14 HZ, you are said to be in an alpha state. It is considered a "relaxed" state of mind that allows you to be more receptive, open, creative, and less critical. Edison, Einstein, and many other brilliant thinkers considered a daily ritual of accessing an alpha state of mind essential to their work.

When we utilize the alpha state, we have better memory and recall. And because we are calmer, we tend to be more focused and make better decisions.
Learning to access an alpha state at will, can help you with memory, creativity, and intuition and if used on a regular basis --even for short periods-- you will be able to cope with stress more easily and your anxiety will decrease.

The technique of deep breathing
is a method to saturate brain cells and the body with oxygen. If you use this technique in everyday life, your brain will produce the alpha rhythm automatically.
An outing to nature. Rustling leaves, murmuring water, crackling fire, raindrops, all this triggers the alpha state.
Sunbathing. Many enjoy sunbathing under the caressing sun on a warm coast, feeling the gentle rays of the sun enveloping the body. This feeling of deep relaxation arises from increasing alpha waves.
in the alpha state of mind a person is more calm and more receptive  to information and is open to more possibilities
You ever been in the shower and an idea came to you? It's because of the relaxed state of mind your brain has went into from the trickling of the water
