Scripture of the day- Luke 10:38-42- As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. 40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”

41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one.[a] Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

When you receive Jesus as your Savior, the first thing He wants to give you is righteousness. He takes your sin and gives you His righteousness. God hates for His children to be tormented with ungodly feelings, questioning whether something is wrong with us because we don't like what others like or because we can't do what they do. He gave us His righteousness so we don't have to believe those thoughts.

You can stop listening to Satan's lies and say instead: "I am in right standing with God." You can stop thinking, what is wrong with me? and start letting God show you the good things that He has placed in you. Believe and speak, "I have right standing, not wrong standing. I have rightness through Christ when I stand before God."

Prayer Starter: Thank you, Father, for making me right with You and for helping me block out the enemy’s voice. In Jesus’ name, amen.
