Rest in God
Good day, good people! God wants some people to rest in him. Cast your cares upon him. Hearken to God's voice, that still voice inside of you that speaks to you about your purpose and how to handle things the right way. Don't overload yourself, don't entertain the wrong thoughts which in return can cause emotional stress. God said rest awhile in me and I will give you strength.
Positive word of the day- hearken- listen
collboration- the action of working with someone to produce or create something.
Quote of the day- Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening when you'd have preferred to talk.
Scripture of the day- Hebrews 4:1-8- Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. 2 For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.[a] 3 Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said,
“So I declared on oath in my anger,
‘They shall never enter my rest.’”[b]
And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world. 4 For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: “On the seventh day God rested from all his works.”[c] 5 And again in the passage above he says, “They shall never enter my rest.”
6 Therefore since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience, 7 God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted:
“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts.”[d]
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9

Forgiveness Is Forever
Adapted from the resource Power Thoughts Devo - by Joyce Meyer
God's forgiveness is forever and ongoing for the duration of our lives; it is for every day. When Jesus died on the cross, He not only forgave everything we had done in our pasts, but He also committed Himself to forgive and forget every sin we would commit in the future.
He knows our thoughts before we think them; He knows our words before they come out of our mouths; He knows every wrong decision we will ever make—and they're all covered. All we have to do is stay in a relationship with Him. After all, what He wants from us more than anything else is not perfect performance, perfect behavior, or perfect attitudes, but hearts that really love Him.
Prayer Starter: Father, thank You for sending Jesus to die on the cross for me and because of that tremendous sacrifice, covering every sin I will ever commit.
