While some groups deem certain books unacceptable for school study, many of those books are powerful commentaries on society in general — and American society in particular. They should be read. This week, Richard Clifton, who built a “Little Free Library” that he’s now stocking with challenged books, speaks with Leigh and company about book banning and beyond. Richard is a distinguished educator and book lover … and his library contains many American classics as well as some more contemporary.
