Evening Eclectic June 26, 2022 Wadada Leo Smith
Tonight on Evening Eclectic I have creative musician Wadada Leo Smith. Wadada has recently celebrated his 80th birthday. The Finnish record label TUM Records has been celebrating that event with an extraordinary series of sets of his recordings including two album that were released just a week ago Friday including the 7-CD set of his string quartets 1-12 and a 5-CD set with a series of duets with 4 great drummers entitled "Emerald Duets".
