Program Notes
The good news is that Art on the Air will continue on. You’ll find it here on Wednesday afternoons at 3, with new hosts Tamara Garvey and Melissa Taylor. Welcome. The bad news is that Rob Hessler is stepping away from the program.
I know Rob a little, mostly through listening to the program. What I can say is that Rob thinks visually, as do most of his guests and that may be what separates artists from everyone else. It’s not easy to do – I struggle with it and admire it. The performers I play here think with their ears, another trait I struggle with.
Hail and farewell, Rob. I’m hoping to see what your next act produces.
