Contemporary Classics February 7, 2023 Olivia De Prato & Maya Bennardo of the Mivos Quartet
Tonight on Contemporary Classics I have two member of the Mivos Quartet: Violinist Olivia De Prato & and violinist Maya Bennardo. This past Friday February 3rd released a new album “Steve Reich - The String Quartets” on Deutsche Grammophon. In addition the Mivos Quartet will be appearing in 3 concerts at the 2023 Big Ears Festival in Knoxville TN, the Mivos Quartet with Steve Reich - The String Quartets on Thursday March 30th, and twice on Friday March 31st with Mary Halvorson and her Amaryllis and Belladonna concerts on Friday, March 31st.
