  • Welcome to “well, That’s Show Biz!”. I am your host, Jeremy Freedman, and each week I bring you music from Broadway, Movies, and Entertainers along with some anecdotes, information, and commentary all based on a theme.

  • Tax Day is Tuesday, April 18th, and so to recognize Tax Day, our theme today is Money. We are going to start off our first set with Alan Cummings and the cast of the 1998 revival of Cabaret singing about “Money”. Then Jonathan Pryce as Fagin sings “You’ve Got To Pick a Pocket Or Two” from Oliver! Next Ethel Merman asks “Can You Use Any Money Today” from Call Me Madam. And lastly, Dorothy Loudon, as Miss Hannigan, leads us down “Easy Street” from Annie. Here’s “Money” from Cabaret.

  • You just heard “Money” from Cabaret, “You’ve Got To Pick a Pocket Or Two” from Oliver!, “Can You Use Any Money Today” from Call me Madam, and “East Street” from Annie as we anticipate Tax Day on Tuesday with the theme of Money on today’s edition of “well, That’s Show Biz!”.
