Savannah Music Local and Sustainable July 5, 2023 Monty Parks

Tonight on Savannah Music Local and Sustainable I have singer/instrumentalist Monty Parks  who with Bill Oakley will be performing as the The Marsh Dawgs a week from Friday at the First Friday for Folk Music on Friday July 7th at the First Presbyterian Church’s Stewart Hall, 520 Washington Avenue, Savannah. Bill and Monty connected through the weekly musical jam session on Tybee Island. Together, they share similar musical interests and a passion for performance. They’ll play popular music spanning the last 100 years. Their eclectic offering includes folk, jazz, pop, blues and country. Bill plays bass guitar and sings background harmony. Monty sings lead vocals and plays guitar.
