Tonight on Contemporary Classics I am talking with soprano Laura Strickling and Pianist Daniel Schlosberg. Laura and Daniel together have created the new album 40 at 40 which is a set of 20 songs from the 40 songs that Laura commissioned for her 40th birthday. And we are joined by two composers of songs on the album Jodi Goble and Ed Windels who will be talking about their songs. 40 at 40 was released just this past Friday, August 18th on Bright Shiny Things.
