So many Savannah unsung heroes brought this city from its founding to today.  Their courageous acts educated enslaved children and African American children following the Civil War, fought against Jim Crow laws and staged protests to end segregation of businesses on Broughton Street, and so much more.

Their brave actions have helped make Savannah the great city it is today.  Kudos to all of you and to those who continue to fight the good fight for all of us.
