Tonight on Savannah Music Local and Sustainable I am talking with composer and banjoist Tony Trischka. Tony will be in Savannah as part of the Savannah Music Festival with two programs: EarlJam on Friday night April 5th at 8pm in the Metal Building at Trustees' Garden 660 East Broughton Street and at the Noon 30 concert on Saturday April 6th at 12:30pm also in the Metal Building at Trustees' Garden 660 East Broughton Street. His EarlJam concert is part of the larger celebration of the 100th anniversary of the births of guitarist Doc Watson and banjoist Earl Scruggs. And EarlJam album scheduled for release on June 7th on Down the Road Records. This is the first of two episodes
