Tonight on Contemporary Classics I have back on the program composer David Lang and we are joined by two members of he musical ensemble Eighth Blackbird violinist Maiani da Silva and ensemble co-director and percussionist Matthew Duvall. We will be talking about their new album Composition as Explanation which was released just this past Friday on July 12th on Cedille Records.
