July 9, 2024 Say It Now! Say It Right!

Mary Nestor, local author, joined us in the studio today to discuss her book Say It Now!  Say It Right, a practical guide to effective communication.  Many of us were brought up with the old adage that silence is golden, but we learn that there are times when remaining silent can have significant consequences.  Speaking out takes courage, especially when you are not sure how your words will be accepted and interpreted.   Knowing your motive for speaking out and planning your words to show kindness are incredibly important.  We discussed some practical experiences with family members, work colleagues, and customers and how to say it now and say it right.  

Mary is currently working on a new book, a suspense thriller, and we look forward to its completion and more conversations with Mary.
