Savannah Music Local and Sustainable November 20, 2024 John Morris Russell Episode 2
Tonight on Savannah Music Local and Sustainable, I am talking with John Morris Russell, conductor of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra about their upcoming "Holiday Pops" concert. This program features Jaia Alli, cello, the 2024 Youth Concerto Competition Winner and Broadway star Meredith Inglesby, soloist with the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. And as a special treat the second half of the concert will feature music from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker and a dance performance by the Hilton Head Dance Theatre. The Hilton Head performances will be at the First Presbyterian Church, 540 William Hilton Parkway on Hilton Head on Sunday, December 1st at 4:00 PM and Monday, December 2nd at 7:30 PM. There will be an additional concert in Bluffton at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church which is at 31 St. Gregory Drive in Bluffton.
