Four Centuries of Great Music March 02, 2025 February New Classical Music Album Releases

Today on Four Centuries of Great Music I will be sharing music from new classical music releases in February.   We open with the second release of music by Maurice Ravel this year by pianist Seong-Jin Cho.  These Ravel releases are to be expected because 2025 is the 150th anniversary of the birth of Maurice Ravel, which is this Friday March 7th.  And I will be celebrating that event here on Four Centuries of Great Music next week.  This months release is Ravel’s piano concertos and today I will be playing Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major, M. 83.  It is in 3 movements marked Allegramente, Adagio assai and Presto.
