December 2, 2025: If I were President for a day

Barbara and Opollo shared some of the things that they would do if they were president for the day.  Barbara said she would start with a re-education program to teach the truth about USA history to the president, not the myths, lies and legends we have been taught--from the genocide of the indigenous and theft of their land to the theft of Africans to enslave, to the warring and regime change coups around the world to steal resources and impoverish these countries, all in the name of "spreading democracy."  

Opollo discussed taking the profit out of the healthcare system to enable more people to access the care they need.  He also talked about changes to the way we treat the environment, moving toward removal of toxins from the air, land and water to conserve the resources we have and live a healthier life.

We both talked about reforming the prison system from one of punishment to one of rehabilitation to enable people to do their time and, once freed, become productive and valued members of society.  

We decided that we would continue this discussion on December 9 when Rose and Robo will join us.
