When The Moon Sings - August 25, 2018

This week, P.T. Bridgeport chats with Beth Logan, who is the Director of Marketing and Volunteer Services at the Savannah Hospice.  In addition to all of the other things she has done over the years, she has turned the hospice into a premier showcase for local artists.  It's an unusual combination, but Beth has made it work really well.  We'll talk about some of the details.

Also this week, music from Peter Gabriel, Fiona Joy, and Steve Equiaga.

Fiona Joy, who started her career as Fiona Joy Hawkins, is a recognized new age pianist, but she also plays classical music, sings, and is a recognized painter in Australia, with dozens of shows to her credit.

A San Francisco Bay Area native, guitarist/composer Steve Erquiaga's career has touched many areas of the music world. He has recorded and toured with both jazz and new age groups.  With the Andy Narell group Steve recorded seven albums and toured extensively, performing at such venues as the Montreaux Jazz Festival, The Berlin Jazz Festival and the North Sea Jazz Festival.

Is it THAT Peter Gabriel?  Yes, it is.
