When The Moon Sings - December 8, 2018

We start with Blue Sun, by David Helpling this week.  Like most of David's pieces, there are many sounds on this cut, but listen to the beautiful guitar taking the lead.  We also have the Dallas String Quartet covering Sia, something from Ryan Farrish, an oldie from Steve Winwood, and another piano essay from Brian Crain.

I've also got the Brooklyn Duo covering Bittersweet Symphony, a cut with an interesting past.  It was first recorded by The Verve in 1997, but it used a sample from an orchestral cover of a Rolling Stones song.  Lawyers occurred, and the settlement includes listing Mick Jagger and Keith Richards as co-composers.

Also:  P. T. finally admits that Christmas is coming and he has to do something about it.
