When The Moon Sings - January 26, 2019
A little serendipity this week. I've played the music of Greg Reiter, who is a guitarist that I admire. While looking for more of his music, I fat-fingered the entry and found Greg Reitan, who does some very thoughtful piano work. How do I find my music? Sometimes by falling down the manhole. I also have Greg Schmidt, who is not Jon Schmidt of the Piano Guys, but an interesting pianist in his own right.
Greg Reitan is another of those musicians who has formed his own production company and licensed his music to various companies that use them for films and advertisements. We may have heard his music without attribution. He's a Seattle native, and when he isn't writing this sort of music, he writes classical compositions - two were recently performed by the University of Southern California symphony.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, P.T. wonders about the meaning of it all and decides he doesn't have the right dictionary.
