Michael Carvaines is a filmmaker and Professor at Muskingum University. In addition to writing and directing feature films, documentaries, and commercials, he has also worked on the advertising campaigns for nearly 100 movies for Focus Features, New Line Cinema, and Dreamworks Animation. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, he earned an MFA in Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and a BBA from the University of Michigan. Michael is a busy father of two, a radio DJ, and a one-time "Jeopardy!" contestant.
