Metropolitan Opera Saturday Matinee

The
Metropolitan Opera is a vibrant home for the most creative and talented
singers, conductors, composers, musicians, stage directors, designers, visual
artists, choreographers, and dancers from around the world. WRUU will be
featuring the live Saturday matinee performances of the Metropolitan Opera at 1
pm each Saturday during the season from December to May.  Launched in 1931, the
Met’s Saturday matinee broadcasts are the longest-running continuous classical
radio series in American broadcast history. The 87th season of Saturday
broadcasts will once again be heard over the Toll Brothers–Metropolitan Opera
International Radio Network.
