On Jazz 2.5 with Larry Dane-Kellogg you will hear what’s new in Jazz! The state of modern-day jazz is robust and innovative. It encompasses a full range of styles, built on a foundation established by past jazz heroes. To be sure, modern jazz includes its own creative twists to the various genres, creating a sophisticated yet accessible music.
Larry Dane-Kellogg has been a lifelong music fan and a Jazz DJ and Programmer for more than 30 years. He has been involved in the music culture of Savannah for many years. He has presented jazz events with Coastal Jazz Association, the Savannah Jazz Festival, and Savannah Onstage, the forerunner to the Savannah Music Festival. He has also promoted musical events of various genres for many years, presenting jazz, classical, and film. He has also served as Board Member of the City of Savannah Department of Cultural Affairs. He also hosts Classic Jazz Mondays from 6-8 pm on WRUU.
Larry Dane-Kellogg was named "Best Local Radio Personality" in the 2022 Connect Savannah's readers' poll.
