A dandy double-dipper. Greenbriar Children's Center is coming up on its 70th Anniversary Gala! Gena Taylor, Executive Director for the organization, will be on hand at 8 a.m. for the first segment of the Sept. 10 Savannah Lexicon to tell us all about the good work this organization does and about the big event! 

The second segment, starting about 8:20ish, brings Rebecca Rolfes, president of the League of Women Voters of Coastal Georgia. LWVCGA has a great panel discussion TUESDAY NIGHT called Rightfully Hers: Upcoming Legislative Session. Representatives from LWVCGA, Planned Parenthood Southeast, 9to5, and One Hundred Miles will offer their knowledge in the hope that by knowing the issues upfront locals in attendance will be able to exert a greater influence on legislators regarding key issues this legislative session.
