Happy New Year, Lexiconers! Starting the new year off with a compelling show at 8 a.m. featuring Georgia Senator Lester Jackson. We'll discuss the bill he's working on that would allow law enforcement officers to destroy weaponry they seize rather than turning them over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to be sold. They are typically bought by gun show operators and pawn shops, only to end up back on the street in the hands of a criminal. We'll also do an overall preview of this next legislative session.   Unfortunately Lester Jackson was unable to make the show so the focus was on local events.  You can listen to by clicking on the player below
