Good morning, all. An interesting double-duty show today. In the first half, Dr. Michael Benjamin, Professor of History & African-American Studies, Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University will join me to talk about Martin Luther King, Jr. and about the upcoming day of celebration to honor him here in Savannah.
In the second half of the show, Carole Fireall, Neighborhood Leadership Academy Coordinator and Office Administrator for Step Up Savannah will tell us about an important Step Up Savannah event coming up - the Savannah Votes Kick-off, an educational and training event for community organizers.
