Welcome to part one a 5 part series called "Foreign Music For Dummies".
The series will explain and analyze foreign music; and compare and contrast it with US music.
The show is designed to get listeners to appreciate the amazing diversity of foreign music; and to showcase some of my favorite foreign artists and songs, in different genres popular from around the world.
The series will feature popular US genres such as: Country, Jazz, Rock, Blues, New Wave, Punk rock, Dub Step, ballads, crooners, and Funk; as well as genres more popular in other countries such as: Opera, Tango, Salsa, Bossa Nova, Afrobeat, Saharan Blues, Kora music and other genres.
My hope is that you will become as hooked as I am.
