Ben Watson, Republican incumbent for Georgia's Senate District 1, joins me in the WRUU 107.5 studio today. Expect a good overview of Watson's positions on key issues of particular interest to District 1 residents and to Georgians in general including the specter of oil and gas drilling off the coast of Georgia, worries about global warming, expansion of Medicaid, a higher minimum wage, questions about the easing of Certificate of Need rules for healthcare facilities, etc. Listen up and be ready come November 6 when Watson is challenged in the upcoming election by Democrat Sandra Workman.
