Lisa Ring, Democratic challenger to Republican incumbent Buddy Carter for the U.S. House of Representatives District 1 seat in the November 6 election, will join me in the WRUU studio from 8 to 9 a.m. today. With the better part of an hour to address the issues, Ms. Ring will have time to provide more information and context than is usually the case in media presentations. Topics of conversation will include oil and gas testing and drilling off the Georgia coast, healthcare options, minimum wage, "religious liberty" laws, privatization of federal duties, guns, and other major areas of concern.
